All the children had a great first day back at school. The children were excited to see their new class teacher and classroom. During playtime, the children enjoyed being reunited with their friends and playing all the different play equipment in the playground.

The whole school came outside to the playground and created a tunnel to say goodbye to our Year 6 children. We wish them all the best at their new secondary school. They have worked tremendously hard this year and will be missed by everyone at Delta.

This morning we had our last assembly of this academic year. Children were awarded an attendance wristband if they had an attendance of over 96%. Some children had even achieved 100% attendance.
We said goodbye to some staff who are leaving us, and also our Year 6 children. We watched a wonderful slide show of some memories of their time at Delta.
Tulip and Bluebell class enjoyed going to Jump In Trampoline park in Enfield. The trip was organised to encourage the children to be active and enjoy it as part of their wellbeing.
The Year 5/6 children in Bluebell class performed their end of year show to parents. The children have worked so hard and gave an energetic performance. It was almost as if we were watching a West End show. The children were acting and singing and there were a few solo pieces too. The costumes were great and the children's face paintings gave that extra added touch. Well done!
This afternoon, Sunflower class enjoyed having a teddy bears picnic in the playground. The children brought their own teddy bear, picnic blankets and healthy snacks to eat. They sat under the tree where it was nice and shady and were able to socialise and talk to their peers whilst sitting in a circle.
The sun was shining, and Bluebell class thoroughly enjoyed their final trip of the week to Thorpe Park. Once again, well done to all the children for their tremendous effort for raising money to help fund the trip.
Bluebell class went on their second trip this week and had a great time at the Docklands Museum. The children built Isambard kingdom Brunel’s bridge, explored a recreation of Victorian streets, experienced what it would be like staying in a WW2 bomb shelter and recreated the underground tube map with toy trains and tracks.
Today Orchid and Rose class got to experience a live theatre performance called 'Tales from the Shed' by the well-known theatre company The Chicken Shed, in Hyde Park.
The trip helped promote wellbeing and allow the children to possibly have their first experience of watching a live theatre performance. All the children thoroughly enjoyed the trip and eating their lunch in the wonderful surroundings of Hyde Park.
The children also experienced using public transport safely such as the bus, the overground and the underground tube! The class teachers were very proud of how sensible the children were during th trip.
