This term, we have introduced Games makers during morning and lunchtime play. Initially, the children in Year 5 and 6 had to write a short account of why they would be suitable for the role models, how they would share our school values in the playground and how they would encourage active play amongst the children in the playground. After, the children were interviewed and were then observed leading active play and games. Then the children who were successful were offered the job.

So far, our appointed Games makers work on a rota and have been leading by example. They have also been successfully encouraging any classes who are in the playground to play in active team games and activities.
